V-ましょう

V-ましょう is used to suggest or tell someone to do something together. In the Japanese language textbook called Irodori, V-ましょう is used to confirm that you will go together when invited and to suggest to do something next time when your invitation is turned down.

D: すみません、土曜日どようびはちょっと……。
Sumimasen, doyoobi wa chotto……
Sorry, Saturday is not good for me.
C: そうですか。じゃあ、また今度こんど行いきましょう。
Soo desu ka. Jaa, mata kondo ikimashoo.
I see. Well, let’s go another time.
